"Operation not permitted" on VS code terminal MAC_OS



The reason behind this is: VScode app has not access on your Full Disk now. You need to activate this privacy setting for the app using your admin power. Only after that VScode terminal can access your full Disk.

Steps below:

1. Go to "System Preference" using Spotlight or any way you want.



2. Select Security and Privacy Icon.



3. Select privacy tab.

4. Now the privacy you want to activate for vscode is Full Disk Access. So select Full Disk Access, unlock the brown lock, provide admin password to the prompt. Tick on the vscode icon. Lock the brown lock.




You can access disk from vscode terminal.
